The person behind Operant Solo

Hi, I’m Sajjad Hasan.

I’m the founder of Operant Solo. I’m a college dropout with three years of experience in web development and a deep interest in technology and automation.

Why I started this site

While working as a web developer, I often needed to compare tools before choosing one for a project. Too many reviews felt like extensions of a company’s sales pitch. I wanted a place that would explain the trade-offs clearly and help people decide what actually fits their work.

That is why I built Operant Solo: an independent site for software reviews, comparisons, and practical guides. The aim is to make the decision easier for solo operators, builders, and teams, whether a tool is popular or obscure.

How I approach recommendations

The best tool depends on your use case, budget, technical comfort, and the work you need to get done. I focus on those details and the limitations that matter, rather than promoting a product because a company wants it featured. Where a page contains an affiliate link, I disclose it; that does not determine the recommendation.
