Free n8n Workflows: Tested Downloads (JSON)

Quick answer: download any ZIP below, unzip it, and import its JSON file into n8n. Each one is a small, tested workflow for one specific problem, with sample data and a guide that shows the results I recorded.

Prefer GitHub? All the tested workflows are also in one open repository: n8n free workflow templates on GitHub. Open an issue there if one of them breaks.

Need a PDF from HTML? Use the free HTML to PDF tool for n8n: try it in your browser, then copy the Code node.

How these are tested

Each lab is run on n8n Cloud with small sample data, and the guide shows what I recorded. Untested variations are labelled as such. See how I test. These are learning labs, not production benchmarks.

Questions

Are these n8n workflows really free?

Yes. Each ZIP downloads directly from this page with no signup. Check the README or LICENSE inside a ZIP for its terms.

How do I import a workflow into n8n?

Unzip the download, open n8n, create or open a workflow, use the menu and choose Import from file, then pick the workflow JSON file.

Can I use these on real data?

They were built for learning and testing with small sample files. Read the README, run the lab first, and only then connect real accounts.

Are the test results production benchmarks?

No. They are recorded results from small lab runs on n8n Cloud, not performance claims for production systems.
